Summer bass fishing with a big Texas rig worm is a proven technique that has stood the test of time! I honestly don’t a fish a big Texas rigged worm much considering the lake I normally bass fish is so clear and pressured, that a more finesse approach is the go to technique. I challenged myself and broke out the big Zoom Ol’ Monster 101/2 worm and Texas rigged it to fish some deep weed lines off some points. It turned out the be one of the toughest bites of the Summer, but I still managed to pull out a few and salvage another day of Summer bass fishing!
